A basic introduction to yoga breathing, postures, and relaxation. Intended for beginners with no previous experience, or those looking for a gentle and basic ongoing practice. |

Refines the basics and provides more detailed alignment instructions and breath work. Emphasis is on developing strength, flexibility, and ease in the body, in order to quiet the mind. Level 2 classes continue to develop the foundational poses while introducing sun salutations, gentle backbends, and basic inversions. Prior yoga experience recommended. |

Teaches more advanced standing and seated poses, pranayama, and begins integrating inversions, deeper backbends, and meditation techniques. Level 3 classes include vigorous sun salutations and explore more challenging variations of poses, including inversions and backbends. |

Enso's classes are taught in the Hatha yoga tradition with a strong emphasis on proper alignment. Hatha yoga refers tophysical practice of yoga, meaning the practice of poses and observance of breath as a means to healthy balance, contentment and well-being. Each of our teachers bring their own unique blend of training, style, experience, focus, and personality to class. Hatha Yoga involves the flow of synchronized breath to match the flowing movement between poses (vinyasa) as well as the longer holding of poses in conjunction with breath to build stamina, strength and balance. Our Ashtanga Yoga is deeply seated in the Iyengar tradition of form, alignment and balance.

Special Classes
Prenatal & Therapeutic: Prepare for the birth of your baby and work to alleviate pregnancy-related discomforts by practicing gentle, modified yoga poses and breathing exercises. Prenatal yoga class is a wonderful opportunity for pregnant women to connect and celebrate their changing bodies and growing babies. Poses practiced in class aim to build strength and softness simultaneously in preparation for labor. Appropriate at all stages of pregnancy. Class 60 minutes.
Therapeutic Yoga: Therapeutic yoga supports the healing process of many individuals and their bodies. It is Enso's wish for you that through the teachings of Therapeutic Yoga you will find more ease in your body, peace of mind, and greater levels of health and well-being.
Mom & Baby: (not currently scheduled as a class; class will be offered as soon as we have moms and babies to form a class). Bring baby along as you connect with other new moms and help your body recover from birth and the strains of carrying and nursing a newborn. Moms practice poses that involve and entertain baby. This class is a great opportunity to bond with your baby, do something good for your body, and meet a great group of new moms. Appropriate for babies from 6 weeks through crawling.
Class 60 minutes.
Parent & Tot: (not currently scheduled as a class; form a group of moms and tots and create your own semi-private group!): Too busy chasing your toddler to make time for yoga class? Not anymore! Bring your little one (crawling through age 2) for this playful weekly drop-in class that will give you a chance to sneak in some yoga as your child does their own variation of down dog beside you. It's the perfect way to take care of yourself while caring for your child. Meet other parents of toddlers as you stretch, strengthen, and relax and gain tips for how to bring some yoga into your daily life as a parent. For parents & little ones, crawling through age 2. Class 60 minutes.
Couples Yoga: Sure, you could see a movie or enjoy a mojito at a rooftop hot spot. You could catch a free concert or stroll along one of our lovely lakes. Or you could declare date nite at Enso in one of our two hour couples yoga workshops. Yoga Date Night at Enso consists of two-hour couples workshops offered throughout the year at our Victoria location. Friday Nite For Couples is for long-term marrieds who want something new and fresh to help them out of their ruts, as well as to offer a fun and fresh alternative for daters, parents and children, friends or yoga buddies. "The biggest question people ask us is, 'Do we have to have yoga experience?'" Our answer: "It is absolutely not necessary to have any experience." Enso Couples Yoga is offered in two hour workshop formats and will be announced on the Enso schedule soon!
Studio Enso Yoga Classes

Good Morning Yoga: Start your day off right with a great kick-start-the-day 75-min yoga class! This gentle, flowing class will wake you up and get you moving first thing in the morning, without being overly vigorous. Students of all levels are welcome, though some previous yoga experience is recommended.
Sunrise Flow Yoga: Rise and shine and jump start your day the right way with 75 minutes of vinyasa yoga flow between easier and difficult poses including sun salutations, standing, seated and lying poses, backbends, inversions and breathwork. Poses that are new for you will be taught and frequently new poses will be introduced. Level 2&3. Previous yoga epxerience required. Don't be afraid to challenge and amaze yourself.
Gentle Hatha Yoga & Gentle Hatha (slow flow) Yoga: are wonderful for beginners and students seeking a more relaxed and slower paced practice. The slower pace allows for increased emphasis on breathing, holding of poses, gentle flowing between poses, and quieting of body and mind. All levels. Class 75 minutes.
Vinyasa Flow: A challenging flowing practice that moves the body with the breath giving rhythm, strength and meditation. Styles will vary with each instructor. Previous yoga experience recommended. Class 75 minutes.
Ashtanga Yoga: The first or primary series of an Ashtanga Flow Class will be taught in this class. The flow realigns the spine, detoxifies the body, and builds strength, flexibility and stamina. The series of poses begin with sun salutations (surya namaskara A and surya namaskara B) and moving on to standing poses, seated poses, inversions and backbends before relaxation. Previous experience is required. This is a level 2-3 class. Class is 90 minutes.
Hatha Flow Meditation Yoga: A Hatha Yoga class with and without music taught in a meditative, flowing format.Combines easy to difficult postures (which force the mind to withdraw from the outside world) with controlled breathing and flowing transitional movement between poses. Develop energy, core strength and flexibility through stretching, breathing and postures. Designed for a wide range of abilities. Class 75 minutes. Please, no first timers. Advanced.
Candlelight Flow Yoga: 1/2 the class is based on Hatha Flow style, 1/4 is based on the energetic vinyasa style of poses flowing with the breath, and the other 1/4 is baased on de-stressing with a gentler restorative completion ending in deep relaxation. Room is warm and filled with the glow of candles. All levels, some previous experience recommended. Class 90 minutes.
De-Stress & Restore Hatha Yoga: Take time out of your busy life to relax and rejuvenate with this gentler, flowing and restorative class. Learn techniques to restore your body and mind to physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Great for beginners and all levels. Tai Chi: Come into balance and alignment as we explore Tai Chi and Chi Kung exercises to improve overall health, well being, balance and quality of life. Tai Chi Program: Tai Chi Long Form, Two Person Push-Hands, Martial Arts Applications & Chi Kung for Health. The slow circular movements of Tai Chi are based in Chinese martial (kung fu) and healing (chi kung, qigong) arts. Learn movements with names such as, Parting the Wild Horses Mane and Embrace Tiger Return to Mountain. Tai Chi is often referred to as a meditation in motion, because of the enhancement of the mind-body and deeper personal awareness and insight.
Prerequisite: Able to walk, stand and move comfortably for at least an hour. Wear comfortable clothes and bring (indoor only) athletic shoes, or bare feet.This includes stationary spinal stretching, movements and postures of the hands and feet, and movements of the body as an integrated whole. Great for beginners and all levels. Class 75 minutes.
New to Yoga?
Yoga Basics 101 is recommended for those who are just beginning their yoga practice. Yoga Basics 101 provides a solid foundation in the essential poses, preparing students for Level 1 classes and is also suitable for early prenatal yogis and those seeking a gentler, more restorative and therapeutic start to their yoga practice.
Enso Private and Semi-Private Yoga Instruction / Restorative & Therapeutic Personal Training Private Lessons:
Private lessons: Private lessons allow you the time and individual attention to learn the art and practice of yoga, and to ask questions about a particular pose, work through challenges, and find modifications that are right for you as an individual. With the teacher's close attention on you in every pose, together you may discover something new that will help to refocus and refresh your practice. Two people may also book a semi-private lesson together at a reduced rate.
Semi-Private Group Parties and Instruction: Discover yoga, breath and somatic body movement with a group of friends, a bookclub, team, or family. We can create any experience for your group around any theme, book or topic of your choosing. Your semi-private group instructor and teacher is also a long-term certified personal life coach, and can empower your group in whatever manner you wish!

She has radically combined "new school" aerobic and anaerobic movement, martial arts and endurance principles with positive affirmations and a gentle relaxation/stretching session at the end of class. YogaLates (Mat Pilates with Yoga): Tis class will leave you feeling strong, balanced and lean as you focus on your core. Yoga poses with an emphasis on the core. BodyFit Fusion: Strengthen, sculpt, and stretch in this blend of great music, yoga, Pilates and fitness using weights, steps, bands, and balls. Class all levels, 60 minutes.
BodyRhythms for BodyMind&Spirit (BMS): BodyRhythms offers an integrated approach to health and fitness. Discover new, safe ways to use muscles you have never used before, while working out to fabulous global beat music, drums and tap energy, movement and vitality you never knew you had! Karma Yoga Program
Our 21 & Under Karma Yoga Program is comprised of motivated, friendly, and dedicated young people under the age of 21 who help keep Enso vibrant for our teachers and fellow practitioners.
We offer one free yoga class in exchange for 60 minutes of work, as well as a 10% discount on retail. The Karma program is available to three young persons per quarter and requires a brief and friendly interview and application.
Duties may include:
- Supporting the manager and/or teacher on duty
- Keeping the lobby, studio, changing areas, and bathrooms tidy
- Distributing flyers in the neighborhood
This is a great opportunity for those wanting to earn some credit towards classes and some good karma merit. Please contact Nina or Lani if you are interested in becoming a Karma Yogi.
Private and Semi-Private Sessions
Private Sessions can be arranged to:
- Develop your home practice.
- Focus on your special needs such as back pains or injuries.
- Develop a personal program for sports conditioning or to manage a specific health issue.

Yoga Etiquette and Standards of Presence for an Honoring and Harmonious Practice at Enso
PLEASE:

- Please remove and leave your shoes inside the front door before entering the studio.
- Sound carries in our building so please turn cell phones off and keep voices low in the hallways and
adjoining rooms if another class or private is in session.
- You may place your purse, wallet or other personal belongings on the counter in the back prop room.
- Arrive at least 10 minutes prior to class to prepare. Late arrivals are admitted at the teacher’s discretion. Later arrivals more than five minutes after the class has started is not permitted as the warm up and centering process is well underway.
- Observe silence once class begins. Our lounge area is available for you to enjoy tea and social time.
- Do not attend class right after eating a large meal.
- Bring water.
- Wear non-restrictive clothing.
- Plan on being barefoot.
- Plan on staying the entire class. If you must leave early, please inform the teacher and end with Shavasana!

Enso provides mats, blocks, straps, balls, blankets, weights and all other props. You can purchase a beautiful mat in our boutique.
For your health and safety, we highly encourage you to purchase your own mat. These mats are high quality, long lasting and affordable. We have high quality extra thick mats available for sale also.
Class Cancellation & Missed Class Policy
Missed “no show” classes for which you are registered will be charged against your credit or debit card. To avoid charges for missed classes, kindly call Enso at (952)361-9355 twenty (20) hours in advance to let us know of your cancellation. No shows and cancellations occurring with less than 20 hours notice will be billed to your credit card.
- Class cards may not be frozen, nor are they transferable.
- No refunds will be given for unused classes.
- Unattended workshops are non-refundable.
Gift Certificates are available. We accept cash, check, credit cards.
Payment methods
We accept checks, cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover for payment.
Confidentiality
Patient confidentiality as required by state law is absolutely honored and maintained at all times.
Cancellation Policy for Appointments or Services
Cancellations for appointments and services must be made no later than 24 hours before treatment or the full fee will be charged. In the case of an emergency, please inform the front desk or your practitioner and this policy may be amended.
Treatment Suggestions and Policies
To get the most of your treatments, please turn off all pagers and cell phones during your visit. If you are coming for acupuncture please refrain from wearing makeup or scented lotions or perfumes for the first few treatments. It is also advisable to avoid caffeinated or alcoholic beverages the day of your appointment and for at least 24 hours afterwards. Please be sure your body is well-hydrated with pure water before you arrive for your session.
Insurance
A growing number of insurance companies will reimburse for acupuncture or massage treatments. Consult your insurer for the terms of coverage on your policy. However, full payment is due at the time of each treatment. A receipt will be given after each treatment for patients to submit for insurance reimbursement.

Celebrate with friends and family by hosting a yoga party at Enso! Many people are looking for alternative ways to celebrate, to do something special, life affirming and uniting for a special occasion. Why not have a party that is unique and actually good for you? A yoga party is designed to relax and rejuvenate mind, body and spirit.
Your yoga party in our studio consists of a one-hour long private yoga session and 1⁄2 hour after class for time to serve your refreshments that you provide and open gifts. Longer sessions are available, and we customize the program to fit your needs. Off-site yoga party is a one-hour private yoga session at your location. Please make sure you have ample room for the group and a safe environment.

For workshops or yoga classes, please check our current schedule.
All hours for acupuncture, massage, and herbal therapies and nutritional consultations are by appointment. Appointments are available Monday-Friday 10am-7:00pm, Saturdays 8am-2pm, and closed on Sundays unless by special appointment.
There is a 24-hour cancellation policy and the full fee will be charged for failure to cancel an appointment within that timeframe, except for emergencies.
